Macalester Ranks 28 out of 413 in the Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges 2019

Recently, Macalester College ranked 28th out of the 50 Top Green Colleges, in The Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges: 2019 Edition. The guide profiled 413 schools, ranking the top 50 based on Green Rating scores given using a combination of school-reported data and student opinion collected from nearly 700 colleges in the US in 2018-19. Macalester uses the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) STARS, Sustainability Tracking, Assessment, and Rating System, to measure sustainability performance. In 2017 Mac received a Gold Rating.
