Recylemania

Recyclemania is ON for February 3rd to March 30th! Recylcemania is a nationwide friendly inter-university competition that records the amount of recycling and trash collected by participating schools each week over an 8 week period. The schools re then ranked in various categories based on who recycles the most on per-capita basis, as well as which schools have the best recycling rate as a percentage of total waste. In 2018, Macalester was ranked 4th! Lets try to do even better this year! There are also a few events during the competition, including TMUP Skillshare February 16th 10am-3pm in the Ideal Lab, with workshops such as DIY Zero Waste Products, how to shop in bulk with MacSHARE, how to use menstrual cups, turning t-shirts into bats and more!
