Socially Just Clothing

Dr. Anupama Pasricha from the Apparel, Merchandising and Design Department in St. Catherine University wrote a handout on sustainable fashion. She has many great suggested actions for the consumer, such as:

• If buy, buy second hand
• Use, reuse, swap, recycle
• Reward brands that match your values by buying from them
• Support local designers, makers, and attend their events
• Ask “who made my clothes?”
