EQB Youth Forum and Climate March

On Thursday, October 18, the Environmental Quality Board in Minnesota hosted an event to bring youth environmental leaders to the fore.  Several high school students presented on the work that they are doing around the states. One common thread through many of the presentations was the topic of environmental justice and bringing all stakeholders to the table for environmental decisions.  At the end, a resolution was presented calling for the EQB, “to collaborate with youth leaders, reserving one annual board meeting dedicated to youth perspectives, work, and ideas surrounding environmental topics.” One of the presentations was about iMatter campaigns across the state and the new MN Can’t Wait coalition.  These climate justice campaigns are hosting a march on Sunday, October 28 from 1-4pm.
