Macalester Water Bottle Ban

In 2011, Macalester banned selling plastic water bottles on campus. Accompanying this ban, Macalester installed many automatic water bottle filling stations around campus, which was funded by the Sustainability Office. If one is ever looking for a new, free water bottle, they should check out the free swap. The free swap is home to many water bottles, mugs, and even t-shirts! The water bottle ban is a great way to avoid plastic waste and to improve your water consumption!
